We are excited to have you join our team!

The goal is to have fun and develop a love for mountain biking.

Before you register, here is information about the upcoming season. If you have questions, please contact us before you register!

Who can join?

  • The Palouse Bicycle Racing Composite Team is open to youth riders of all abilities who consider Moscow Mountain to be their local trail system.
  • Student Riders from 6th to 12th grade. Riders must be no younger that 10 years old and in 6th grade.
  • Volunteer Coaches are adults who ride, mentor, and coach the students. Volunteer coaches must register through the league, see below. We ask that coaches commit to a riding schedule.

What gear do I need?

  • Mountain Bike. Not sure if your bike is capable? Text or email the coach a photo and we’ll take a look for you! (The team has a limited number of bikes & gear available for student use. Contact the coaches to discuss.)
  • Helmet
  • Water
  • Weather-appropriate clothing

When will we ride?

  • Team rides will be on the Moscow Mountain trail system, with occasional rides at other local venues, including early season rides in town, and Hells Gate State Park in Lewiston.
  • There are 5 races. It is expected that riders attend at least one race. Race information is on the league’s web page.
  • The riding season starts February 1 and goes through June. Weekday rides will start AFTER daylights savings, March 10.
  • We ride at least twice a week: one weekday and one weekend. Your coach will provide the ride / practice schedule in the following weeks. (Advanced riders will have an additional ride each week.)
  • Team rides are expected to be about 1.5 to 2 hours long.
  • Only registered riders and registered coaches are permitted on team rides.
  • Scheduling will be done through the app, “Team Snap.” Please be sure to RSVP for each ride and race. You will be invited to Team Snap after you are registered.

  • Palouse Composite DOES NOT charge additional fees; all of the coaches are volunteer & team gear has been donated by our sponsors.
